Introduction
Chongqing Hongjiang Machinery Plant (originally named Sichuan Hongjiang
Machinery Plant), founded in 1967, is specialized in development
and manufacture of fuel ejection equipments and actiyator for large-power
diesel engines used in marine propeller, power station, and locomotives
and engineering machine. Hongjiang is, now, the greatest specialized
plant with the most advanced equipments, the widest product varieties
and the highest product quality level among the plants of the same
products in China. It is state second-class large-sized enterprise,
and a state first-class measuring enterprise. The plant was awarded
"ZC" Works Approval Certificate by China Classification Society
and ISO9001 Quality System Certificate. The plant possesses 1,400
workers and staff members, and covers an area of 200,000 square
meters.
Hongjiang's fuel ejection systems are used on various types of low,
medium and high-speed large-duty diesel engines with bores ranging
from 150mm to 700mm. Hongjiang carries most of domestic works for
fuel ejection equipments of introduced large power diesels. Main
machining and measuring equipments of Hongjiang are imported from
developed countries. They are more than 40 sets of machining centers,
CNC lathes and turning centers; more than 20 sets of CNC grinding
machines; and a CNC carbonizing line, gas nitriding equipments and
vacuum heat treatment equipments, 3-D Measuring Machine, Form Measuring
System, super precision Linear Comparator, Direct-Reading Spectrograph,
Digital Microhardness Tester, CNC Metallurgical Microscope, etc.
Hongjiang was approved by the State Planning Commission to develop
overdrive clutch for motorcycle engines as one of national projects
of "enlarging and speeding up investment" by utilizing its own technical
advantage from 1996. Hongjiang overdrive clutches are widely used
on types of motorcycles. The plant annual production runs up to
1,500,000 sets of overdrive clutches.
