Introduction
Fujian Nanan Rongzhong Petrochemical Works,
founded in 1976, is located in Meishan Town of Nanan, a famous town
in the country inhabited by relatives of overseas Chinese and returned
overseas Chinese. Through 20 years of arduous efforts in building
the enterprise, it has been constantly developing and expanding
from an unknown small workshop to a 2nd-grade medium enterprise
in petrochemical line in Fujian, one of the hundred ones in Quanzhou
with the title of " Pathbreaking Product " and Nanan's key enterprise.
It is also a member unit to the Oil-material Field Committee of
China's Automobile Engineering Association and to the American Automobile
Engineer Association. Since 1990 our factory has been elected many
times Provincial Advanced Enterprise, AAA-grade Credit Enterprise
of Fujian Agricultural Bank and passed the ISO9002 Quality System
in 1997. Its major product ---- automobile braking liquid of Laike
Brand ---- was awarded the title of " Fujian Famous Brand " by Fujian
People Government in 1997. Its registered capital has increased
from the initial RMB3,000 to RMB 10.88 million now, the total assets
amounting to RMB 22.05 million, with a total area of 20,000 square
meters, of which 6000sq.m. are for factory buildings. There are
108 working staff, among whom 18 are technicians with qualifications
of polytechnic schools or institutions of higher education and 4
senior engineers. It owns such equipment as producing 20,000 tons
of lubricating oil and 5000 tons of braking liquid for automobiles,
capable of manufacturing over 50 varieties of "Laike"
brand products such as braking liquid, engine oil, gear oil, gearbox
oil, reserve oil for engineering machinery, oil for technology and
so on. It also owns a technologic research center for guarantee
of the product quality and a fully equipped laboratory for inspection
as well as experienced, highly-qualified processional technicians
and personnel of business administration and marketing so as to
ensure the product quality and serve the society. Since 1990 our
factory has turned over an annual average tax of over RMB 1 million,
and in 1998 the industrial output value 1998 reached RMB 40 million,
turning over RMB 1.5 million for taxes. It was therefore awarded
by Nanan Municipal Government the honorable title of "Giant
Taxpayer".
