Introduction
Jingdezhen Porcelain Sculpture has had a long illustrious history,
famous both domestic and abroad for its vivid shape and rich decoration,
being one of the five main traditional styles of porcelains.
A galaxy of talent, such as the descendants of aristocratic sculptor
family and top extorts in the field, gathers together in Jingdezhen
Sculpture Ceramic Factory. And now it is a specialized sculpture
factory which is the largest brand in scale, the strongest technical
force in China.
The sculpture porcelain made by Jingdezhen Sculpture Ceramic Factory
use local porcelain stone as raw materials. The products are chiefly
made with the traditional techniques such as round carving, mould
caving, open work, relief carving, with rich decorations such as
family rose, white and blue, color glaze, new color, tou-tsai(contesting
colors) and so on, wonderful workmanship, characterizing objects
by personifications. The legendary figures and gods from Buddhism,
Taoism, Confucianism, typical figures of cultural articles, famous
figures through the ages, modern scenery and human feeling are all
easy subject matter with strong expression. Some are stately and
graceful; some are elegant and splendid.
In 1987, the " Scattering Flowers" Brand Porcelain Sculpture
of ancient figurines won State Gold Medal for its high-quality,
awarded all kinds of fine quality medals by the Ministry of Light
Industry and Jiangxi Province. Many treasures are collected by museums,
or displayed in Great Hall of Beijing. Some are presented to heads
of foreign states as gifts. Our products were exported to Southeast
Asia, Japan, America, Britain, Italy and more than 50 countries
and districts.
